Week In Review – October 26

le creuset spoon spatulas titled

This is the first in a weekly series entitled “Week in Review” which will be posted each Saturday. I want to share with you links to other food blogs that I found throughout the week containing recipes or ideas that I have found interesting and a kitchen gadget that I use and enjoy.

Sometimes I might think a kitchen utensil or gadget looks like it would be useful but is it really? Is it worth the money spent? For me, it helps to know someone that actually uses it and likes it! I thought some of you might be the same so, along with my review I am also linking to the exact gadget or utensil that I purchased from my affiliate partner and explaining why I like it.

For the first review, I present my Le Creuset Revolution Silicon Spoon Spatulas. Yes, that’s right, it is plural! I thought they were so wonderful that I bought 2 of them!

Purchased from my affiliate partner after my trip in August to visit my mom and sister in Georgia, I have found the Le Creuset Revolution Silicon Spoon Spatulas,  to be useful for just about everything. Since they are shaped like a spoon, not only can I easily stir ingredients with them, I can serve or transfer food with them and, of course, scrape a bowl clean with them. The edge is firm enough to scrape yet pliable to conform to the shape of my bowl.

To be honest, I would never have paid the price for these spatulas if my sister had not had them. This is one of those examples of knowing someone that liked them and then having an opportunity to try them myself! During my visit, I used them often and found them to be the utensil I reached for first. So, I bought not one but two when I returned home. That was almost 3 months ago and I still love them! If you need (or just want) a new spatula for yourself or a gift for someone special, I can vouch for these!

Leave a comment and let us know what your favorite kitchen tool or gadget is!

Good Morning from Northern California, my favourite kitchen tool is small liquid measuring cup that goes up to 4 Tablespoons. It is perfect for adding a tablespoon of this or that when making dressings, mayonnaise, water/oil for delicious sourdough challah bread, etc. while keeping measuring spoons for dry ingredients. A very small inexpensive addition in the kitchen that has maintained my favourite status for about 3 years now!
