I am excited to introduce my new GAPS Diet: How to Start ebook! Many of you are familiar with the GAPS Diet. And after many emails and questions, I decided to write a guide to help give you the confidence you need to get started on the road to health.

GAPS is an acronym for Gut and Psychology Syndrome. The Gut and Psychology Syndrome book, written by Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride is a must read.

The GAPS Diet: How to Start ebook is NOT meant to take the place of the GAPS book. It is a tool to help you as you get started.
Basics of the Diet
The GAPS Diet is designed to heal you gut bacteria and make sure that healthy bacteria are in control. This is done through the foods you eat and truly affects the health of your whole body.
GAPSters suffer from what is also known as the leaky gut syndrome. This is caused by an unhealthy digestive system which does not complete the digestion process.
Since proteins are allowed to enter the bloodstream through the intestinal wall, autoimmune responses occur.
I am a prime example of this – rheumatoid arthritis, allergies and eczema are all tied to immune problems.
My Story of Health
I was plagued with stomach problems, digestive issues which meant I yo-yoed between constipation and diarrhea with a lot of stomach pain.
I was also diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in my teens and meat allergies which caused me to become a vegetarian.

Since the pain in my hands from the rheumatoid arthritis was so bad, my husband had to cut my pancakes for me each morning.
However, once I began the diet, I was pain-free in two weeks. But, it may take you longer or you may experience quicker relief – we are all different and I am sharing my experience.
