There is nothing so frustrating as hitting an amazing clothing sale but not being sure of what you need. You have two choices: 1. Buy and hope you really need it OR 2. Miss the savings because of uncertainty – just don’t buy anything!
The Clothes Inventory List puts an end to the uncertainty – it lets you log what you buy and in what size. Be sure to print one for each child to make life easier!
To help keep it all organized, there are 3 sheets with different sizes:
Newborn – 24 months
Sizes 2T – 5T,
Sizes 6 – 16
One way I make the most of our income is buying children’s clothing on sale and at thrift stores. Yard sales are another great source of clothing but it does take time and gas to drive around and visit them. While I have gotten great deals at yard sales, I do not shop them often because of time and distance.
A quick note about thrift store buying: Be picky, only choose quality name brands and look them over for tears, rips, missing buttons and broken zippers.
I have been able to buy name brand shirts and other articles of clothing like Abercrombie, Banana Republic and GAP for a couple of dollars!
Out of sight out of mind. The problem is keeping it all organized to know what I have. It is easy to tuck larger size clothes away and forget them. Then, not remembering it is easy to purchase duplicates. This spoils the potential savings from sale items.
The Clothing Inventory List will put an end to wasteful spending and maximize your savings by helping you keep it all organized!
