  • 1 1/2 sucanat may use 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2/3 c. peanut butter
  • 1/4 c honey warmed (or light corn syrup)
  • 1/2 c. butter melted
  • 3 c. rolled oats
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. coconut optional
  • 1/2 c. sunflower nuts optional


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Grease a 13 x 9 inch pan.
  3. In large bowl, combine the sucanat (or brown sugar), peanut butter, honey (or corn syrup), butter, vanilla - blend well.
  4. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  5. Press evenly into pan.
  6. Bake 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. While still warm, cut into bars. Allow to cool completely before removing from pan.
