Don't use storebought marinades - make your own with simple ingredients.

  • 2 lbs chicken


  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. mustard
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice apple cider vinegar may be used
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper


  1. Mix all ingredients and pour over chicken.
  2. Allow chicken to marinade in refrigerator at least 2 hours.
  3. Place on grill and cook until desired doneness is reached. I have found that for legs and thighs it is about 5 mins on each side.
