Teriyaki Chicken Burgers Recipe

Marinated in a homemade sauce for at least an hour, these chicken burgers are delicious and easy to make.

  • ½ cup homemade teriyaki sauce
  • 4 - 3 oz chicken breasts
  • 4 slices swiss cheese
  • 4 burger buns of choice
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 small tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup pineapple, sliced
  • 1 cup lettuce, if desired


  1. Marinate your chicken breasts overnight with 1/2 cup of your teriyaki sauce.

  2. Grill on low heat for 20-25 minutes or until internal temp is 165 degrees.

  3. Spread more teriyaki sauce and mayo on the inside of buns.

  4. Place cooked chicken breast on buns and top with cheese and pineapple

  5. Wrap the burger in foil - place back on the grill for 5-8 minutes to warm the pineapple, bun and melt the cheese.

  6. Once done, open and add lettuce and tomato to your burger if desired.

  7. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Marinate at least 1 hour or overnight for best flavor.

Store bought teriyaki sauce may be used for ease.
