Homemade Teriyaki Sauce
Sweetened with honey, this is delicious on vegetables, fish, chicken, pork and beef.

Ingredients

cornstarch

honey

soy sauce

tablespoon
OJ or pineapple juice

teaspoons
ginger

tablespoon
minced garlic

chili flakes
Instructions
Add soy sauce, juice, ginger, garlic and chili flakes in a mixing bowl and whisk.
Pour mixture into cooking pan over low to medium heat.
Slowing mix in honey and cornstarch.
Cook for 5-7 minutes until sauce is thickened, melted down and warm.

Notes
For a gluten free version,
liquid aminos
which has the taste of soy sauce without the gluten.
Any honey may be used but lighter honey enhances the flavors of the spices.
