Pumpkin Butter
Made in the Instant Pot, Pumpkin Butter is delicious, easy to make and great anytime of the year.
Makes about 2 cups.

Ingredients
1
large can pumpkin puree
about 4 cups
¾
cup
maple sugar
1
teaspoons
cinnamon
½
teaspoons
nutmeg
⅛
teaspoons
cloves
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in Instant pot.
Stir together to combine.
Set lid in place, close valve to seal.
Set your Instant pot on manual for 5 minutes
When cooking is complete, allow the steam to release naturally
Once the steam is release, open lid, stir and place in jars.
Notes
Crock Pot Option: Place all ingredients in the crock pot and cook on low for 3 - 4 hours.
Tips:
No water is needed. Pumpkin Butter should be very thick - it should not drop off the spoon when it is turned upside down.
Substitute 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice for the specified spices.
This recipe uses canned pumpkin and not pumpkin pie mix.
The following can be used in place of the maple sugar
¾ cup honey
½ cup brown sugar and ½ cup white sugar
1 cup sugar
Other sweeteners may be used - adjust to taste
