Looking for a Teriyaki Sauce Recipe? Look no further. This Homemade Teriyaki Sauce is not only easy but is delicious, sweetened with honey and has a gluten free option.

Did you catch the last part - sweetened with honey? That is what makes this teriyaki sauce recipe different from others AND especially delicious!

Suggested Uses for Homemade Teriyaki Sauce

When you think of Teriyaki Sauce, I'm sure you think Chinese or Asian cooking. And, while that is true, its use is not limited to stir fry - although it is great for that!

My favorite way to use this teriyaki sauce recipe is for marinating meats (like beef, chicken, pork, fish) or vegetables.

It is a delicious seasoning when used to marinate before grilling. Marinate meat or vegetables at least 1 hour before grilling or cooking. Place meat/veggies in a dish or plastic bag and pour marinade in, mix and refrigerate.

Tips for Making this Teriyaki Sauce Recipe

    • For a gluten free version, use Liquid Aminos which is similar in taste to soy sauce but doesn't have gluten in it.
    • While any honey may be used, a lighter honey enhances the flavors of the spices.
